Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University National Technology Workshop Officially Opens

The National Technology Workshop at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, established under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology with the support and collaboration of TÜBİTAK, was officially inaugurated in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır. The workshop provides a modern technological environment where young people can develop innovative ideas in science and technology, transform their designs into prototypes, and actively participate in production processes.

Millî Teknoloji Atölyeleri Reached 8,700 Students at TEKNOFEST Şanlıurfa

Under the Millî Teknoloji Atölyeleri (MTA) Program, carried out by TÜBİTAK’s Science and Society Department, a total of 8,700 students participated in TÜBİTAK workshops held at TEKNOFEST Şanlıurfa from September 30 to October 4, 2026. The activities aimed to enhance students’ knowledge, skills, and competencies in science and technology, strengthen their hands-on learning experiences, and support their innovative thinking and problem-solving skills. TÜBİTAK continues its efforts to encourage young people’s participation in the science and technology ecosystem and contribute to the development of a qualified workforce.

Kırklareli University National Technology Workshop Opens.

Kırklareli University National Technology Workshop Opens Established at Kırklareli University’s Kayalı Campus with the support and collaboration of TÜBİTAK’s Science and Society Directorate, the National Technology Workshop was inaugurated at a ceremony attended by Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology. Established in line with the National Technology Initiative’s vision and the goal of creating 100 National Technology Workshops across Türkiye’s 81 provinces, the workshop supports young people as they prepare for national and international science and technology competitions. Equipped with a CNC router, lathes, milling machines, 3D printers and electronic development equipment, it enables young people to transform their ideas into tangible prototypes. Guided by the “Aim, Develop, Design” approach, the workshop seeks to strengthen young people’s technical skills and practical production experience, contributing to Türkiye’s capacity to develop and produce technology.
